O’Berry | Cavanaugh and Thibeault Studios Become One Integrated Brand Marketing Agency

New and improved firm strengthens integrated marketing services — brand marketing, advertising, Web/interactive and public relations

Bozeman, Mont.Tuesday August 14, 2007

O’Berry | Cavanaugh, a four-year-old brand marketing firm based in Bozeman, announced today that it has joined forces with one of the longest reigning advertising agencies in Montana, Thibeault Studios. The newly integrated company will operate under the name O’Berry | Cavanaugh (or OC as it is commonly known). OC is also pleased to announce that Thibeault Studios owners Mark and Diane Thibeault will join OC’s advisory board and will remain as active senior counselors to the new company.

“We are not a typical advertising agency,” says Co-Founder, Bridget Cavanaugh. “Our philosophy is that brand building is fundamentally about how companies behave in the marketplace not simply about creating an image, but living it. Instead, we work intimately with clients and with insights from their customers, to achieve tangible business results, often using innovative and even unorthodox marketing tactics.”

Cavanaugh went on to say that, “The collaboration with design leader, Thibeault Studios strengthens our creative and Web capabilities considerably as well as our presence as a regional agency.”

Thibeault Studios was founded in Bozeman in 1980 and enjoyed 27 years as a highly successful advertising agency, employing as many as 20 people at its zenith in the 1990s. Over the years, the firm has worked with many prominent regional businesses such as Marker, Dana Design, Teva, GoLite, Yellowstone Club, TechRanch and Meriwether Ranch. Current clients include Schnees, TEXBase, Copper Springs Ranch and several other local entrepreneurial businesses.

“Companies today need integrated, strategic marketing to succeed in the competitive, leveled playing field brought on by the Web,” observed Mark Thibeault. “For years, businesses in the region didn’t have to worry so much about global competition, but today they do. The merging of the two companies is the ideal for all our clients, bringing together the best in design with innovation, strategy and a fully integrated team to help solve business problems.”

With the new collaboration, O’Berry | Cavanaugh employs 10 full-time marketing, branding and graphic design professionals and also relies on a cadre of talented freelance professionals from around the region and nationally to serve its national and local clientele including Wisconsin-based Einstein Wireless, The Collection Sotheby’s, Yellowstone Preserve, Alaska Growth Capital, Elk River Systems, and Bozeman’s newest LEED neighborhood, Story Mill. The new OC now offices at 20 East Main (above the Stylon).
